Lisa makes every effort to provide Mariposa's clients with a more intimate connection to the people in the host country. You may have heard of the local cuisine, but what about the opportunity to be welcomed into someone's home to try it out? The Raw family from England had heard about "mole" and couldn't wait to try it when they arrived in Mexico. They did so in Mexico City and reported that it was, "Awful!" Lisa asked Manuela, her wonderful indigenous neighbor in Chiapas, to prepare some of hers and the Raws each asked for seconds, all four of them! They loved it!
