For me, there is always a magic connection as I walk the grounds of this ceremonial city. Estimates indicate Paquimé supported a population of 50,000 at its height near the year 1200A.D. Paquimé had a sophisticated water system with streams and canals delivering filtered water to its citizenry.

The vistas are beautiful and extend almost a complete 360 degrees. Its characteristic "T-shaped" doors joined rooms that were situated around a central patio.
