Come to Chiapas or Peru to participate in a project to help economically-disadvantaged communities. These projects may involve the creation of basic infrastructure such as plumbing or electrical, or installation of toilets for sanitation. But please don't stop reading, thinking that you do not have those skills. There are many other projects that require much less technical expertise or you may want to create your own project based on your specific skill set.
