A unique project/adventure is coming to help the Chiapas indigenous
and poor to harvest their coffee crop. Most earn only pennies
on the dollar for that cup of Java that many of you support with
your daily habit. By donating your time to help them with this
highly labor-intensive task, you can help them earn a bit closer
to a minimum living wage. You can stay in their village or nearby
in colonial San Cristobal de Las Casas for the volunteer portion
of your visit. The season normally falls between January and March.
